Department of Botany:

Botany is one of the core subjects for the B Sc BZC group. The Department of Botany established in 2016 and has its existence right from the inception of the college.

Ø  The Department of Botany is known for its academic excellence. And is highly motivated & excited to share both knowledge & passion in the field of Botany. And to enable the students to know about the plant world and its importance in existence of life.
Ø  The Department has well equipped undergraduate laboratories and regularly organizes field trips, science expo, student seminars and group discussions for bringing about holistic development of students.
Ø  The Department organizes remedial coaching & academic guidance for slow learners.


Ø  Some of our alumni are currently pursuing higher education from various institutions.
Ø  Our mission is to strive for an excellent for learning and produce graduates equipped with skills necessary to fullfill their role in contemporary society.
Ø  Our vision is to maintain our position as the premier department of higher learning & research in Plants cornices and to further commit ourselves to academic excellence.

Ø  Various public sectors in India such as Botanical survey of India, Indian Agricultural Research Institute offers numerous jobs for a Botanists.

Ø  Other opportunities includes Department of conservation and land management, forest service, private firms like nursery farms are also a good option for a Botanist.
