Department of Telugu:

 Telugu Department is renowned for its traditions and customs. By filling the students with motherhood Telugu, this Department has conducted many activities.

Ø  Telugu Department has organized Telangana Language Day on September 9, 2019. It was chaired by the College Principal Dr. Laxman Rao presided. The chief guest of the meeting was Dr. T. Rama Krishna, Principal of S.R.R College, and Varala Anand Notable Writer attended. We have organized essay and elocution competitions for students.

Ø  From March 05th to 06th 2020, with the financial assistance of the Telangana Sahitya Akademi, we organized a Two-Day National Seminar on “Karimnagar District Story Literature Consultation”. This meeting was attended by Dr. Nandini Sidhareddy, Dr. Kaluva Mallaiah, Prof. Banna Ayilaiah, Prof. K. Yadagiri, B.S. Ramulu, Dr. Malaya sri, Peddinti Ashok kumar, Prof. P. Kanakayya, Allam Rajayya Celebrities like masters of Telugu literature participated in this Seminar.

Ø  A special attraction of this meeting was the presence of Dr. R.S. Praveen Kumar, IPS, ADGP attended. Also present were Joint Secretary Dr. Praveen Mamidala and Zonal Coordinator Dr. Omprakash. Famous poets, writers, storytellers and educators participated in this two days national Seminar. Up to 30 research papers in total were submitted. Telangana Social Welfare Residential College, Karimnagar of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Society, is hosting the national Seminar for the first time.

LeLeading author Aduwala Sujatha was invited on March 8, 2020 to mark International Women's Day. Her speech was inspiring and ignited the students. We have prepared a college magazine for students to write and write Telugu poetry and stories. The magazine is ready for printing. We encourage students to excel in the Telugu subject and achieve 100% pass.
